KASTURBA AROGYA KENDRA (HEALTH CARE)
There is a growing public awareness that a health centre is the most appropriate place where health care is available for unexpected illness or injury. General Medical practitioners accepted and appreciated the vision of the college to have the health centre for any medical emergency of a member of NMKRV family, which was started in the year 1982. It is the safest place to send them. The Arogya Kendra provides First Aid and health care to the students and staff in collaboration with the P.D. Hinduja Hospital.
OBJECTIVES
- Providing medical facilities to all types of illness.
- Registering for Master Health check-up
- Providing Health care facilities to all the students till they leave the institution.
ACTIVITIES
- Creating general health awareness.
- Testing blood and other samples, when the patient needs any diagnosis.
- Keeping the health centre functioning from 10.00AM to 4.00PM everyday.
CHAITANYA
Chaitanya –A branch under the college Tree is the centre for Remedial Coaching classes and also for Entry in Services is sponsored by University Grants Commission. It has successfully completed its five year remarkable journey. The coaching classes is open to all students of our college who belong to Arts , Science and Commerce, Special provision is given to SC, ST and minority groups like Sikhs , Christians, Muslims and Buddhist and economically weaker section.
In this scheme along with the General Knowledge , general English , Personality Development, Secretarial practices, Communication skill, Group discussion, Computer education are trained.
