Books are people's best friends and the college exemplifies this. So all you bibliophiles out there take note! The college has a spacious library housing over 48,000 books on varied topics. The two-storied library has as many as 30 titles of popular magazines and 10 daily newspapers. In addition, several dissertations and project reports are maintained to help students.

Math Lab
The Department of Mathematics has won the appreciation of the Board of studies for introducing Math Lab to the students of the final year. The Board felt that training in Math Lab would equip the students of Mathematics with recent advances in the area of research in the field of Applied Mathematics and would help them to pursue higher studies with great ease and confidence.

Psychology Laboratory
Is equipped with apparatus, questionnaires and inventories to meet the needs of an expansive syllabus.

Commerce Lab
The Business Lab was established in 2006-2007 with the objective of enhancing class room lectures with audio- visual and computer- based learning. The Lab is equipped with 50 computers and LCD projectors to facilitate presentations by the teaching staff and students.
The Lab enables experiential learning through structured group activities and computer based assignments.

COLLEGE GYM
AROGYA KENDRA
The NMKRV college has a Arogya Kendra named after Kasturba Gandhi which was started in the year 1982. The main purpose is to provide first-aid and health care to the students and staff of the college in collaboration with P.D. Hinduja Hospital. The health centre looks into various dimensions of women’s health, starting from regular health ailments to serious gynaecological problems.
The activities of Arogya Kendra this year began on 20th July 2011 with a free mega health and eye check-up camp at the college. The camp was inaugurated by Sri. R. Ashoka, Hon’ble minister for Home and Transport, Government of Karnataka.
CHAITANYA
Chaithanya –Centre for “UGC – Remedial Coaching Classes”, was inaugurated in August 2005. Under the able guidance and administration of Dr.P.Kamatchi, Department of Commerce ,it has been rendering services to all - category students of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management of our College, special preference being given to SCs/STs and other Minority groups like Sikhs, Christians, Muslims and Buddhists and economically weaker sections. It also caters to the low achievers of General Category. Presently Prof. G.Surya Prakash , Associate Professor ,Department of Commerce , is the Co- Ordinator of Chaitanya.

Features:
- Classes are conducted after the regular class hours and at weekends and during holidays.
- Classes are conducted apart from the regular classes.
- Experienced and dedicated teachers and staff members are involved.
- Classes are purely “Need Based”.
- Both in- staff and staff from other colleges constitute the faculty of the centre
- Entry- In- Services training programmes are conducted during vacations and week ends only.
- Mini library and Digital Library have been established for reference and circulation of books, C.Ds and DVDs for Arts, Science, Commerce and Management students of our college.
- Books on General knowledge, Communicative English and Soft Skills and outstanding books in various fields are available for circulation throughout the year. (even during vacations.)

Entry In Services

University Grants Commission, sanctioned an additional scheme along with Remedial Coaching classes, namely Entry- In- Services from 2007-08 onwards. EIS is a training programme conducted for final year students to groom themselves in various soft skills to enable them to get employment .

Under EIS, capacity and soft skills building programmes are held for the students to shape their future. Students from Arts, Science, Commerce and Management benefit from this programme.

Achievements of Chaitanya:

Students who attended the coaching classes benefited fully and achieved cent percent results.

General category Students who have repeated their exams also achieved good results.

Subjects like BA- Economics, BA- English, and BA- Sociology were taught in Kannada and the students showed lot of improvement.

Extra coaching in some of the practical subjects in B.Com course like Income tax, Management Accounting, Financial management, and so on, yielded very good results.

“Ekalavya” Programme which is a unique programme conducted by ILID (Institute of Leadership and Institutional Development) was organized by the centre under Entry –In- Services scheme during 2008-09.

RVISS
Sanskrit is the most ancient and perfect among the languages of the world. Its storehouse of knowledge is an unsurpassed and the most invaluable treasure of the world. Rashtreeya Vidhyalaya Institute of Sanskrit Studies (RVISS) is an another salient feature of our college which was established in the year 1976. RVISS is recognized by the UGC as an institute offering 'Sanskrit Speaking Course.' RVISS organizes seminars on Sanskrit works and “Sanskrit and National integration” and so on.
RVIGS
Rashtreeya Vidhyalaya Institute of Gandhian Studies (RVIGS) is an annexure of our college which spreads the vision, philosophy and teachings from the life of Gandhiji through various social, educational and cultural programs emphasizing upon the contemporary relevance of his thoughts. Various workshops are conducted on socially relevant issues by eminent social activists, government personnel and scholars to create awareness on various issues like water pollution, water conservation, and initiation of global peace process. The socially conscious activists adhering strictly to the Gandhian dogma provide an ideal platform for inculcating the Gandhian ideologies in an individual and promote universal solidarity and brotherhood.
The institute has primarily concentrated on research in different aspects of Gandhi's life, work and thought. The institute organises Seminars and Lectures by persons of eminence and Gandhian scholars, which are open to the public and have attracted a good deal of attention and appreciation.

HERBAL GARDEN & ECO CLUB
Eco-club of the college ‘Neladavva’ was inaugurated on 11th August 2008 by Chief Guest Sri. Vijay Gore, President – “Parisara”, Retd. Additional Deputy Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka and Keynote address was given by Dr. Balakrishna Gowda, Prof. Dept. of Botany, GKVK.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell has been set up in our college with the aim of organizing training programmes for professional development of faculty members, non-teaching staff, students and others involved in the functioning of the college. Experts here guide you to make major decisions and help you sail through the turbulent phases of life. It is a personal, confidential one-on- one counselling.
Teacher counsellors handle not just academic issues, but also help with adjustmental problems, inadequacies and interpersonal relations. The Centre has proved to be an invaluable support system over the years.
CYBER CAFÉ
The college has a cyber café located at first floor of Mangala Mantapa auditorium. This is available to students from 10 am to 5pm free of cost.
AUDITORIA
The college houses two state-of-art auditoriums, viz. Mangala Mantapa and Shashwathi. Mangala Mantapa has a seating capacity of over 1000 and is used for all college functions. Shashwathi has a seating capacity of around 300 and is used for activities at the Department level. Other than these two, there is a seminar hall with a seating capacity of around 180 inside the college main block.
CANTEEN
The College has a huge canteen which provides tasty as well as healthy food to the students during college hours.
